A quick preview of some of the beastmen (and a NAF ref) for my Nurgle Chaos team. They were going to be at Britcon, but that's been cancelled now

my camera is pretty shitty hence the blurryness, but you get the idea
the 2nd one has a purple shading effect under his eyes to make him look gaunt. the effect worked really well so I'll be using it on a few more... |

thx anthony, good to get a compliment from "Da Painta"!
I scultped the torn cadaver myself, and I reckon it looks OK - the painting covers most mistakes! I still haven't finished him as you can see, and the curved spike is a result of dropping the mini while painting, but it looked so good I decided to keep it bent! |

I think their nicely painted. But I just don't fancy the miniatures themself.
I am working on my chaos team "Serenity in Murder" now and I'm using the new plastic gors models, they're realy easy to convert to bloodbowl miniatures. They have got a really agressive chaos look. |

No, no, see, Rob Zombie is really just an updated version of KISS. He has the act - the sound he describes as "rockabilly," but most of it is straight ahead KISS-style rock updated for this time.
Slayer is not death metal. They're...well, they've always been Slayer, really. They're a speed metal band - or were, back in the day.
REAL death metal has actually become rather progressive, thanks to the late and lamented Chuck Schuldiner, former frontman for the seminal death metal band Death (duh). Chuck pioneered the fusion of death metal with jazz and jazz fusion styles. A REAL "death metal" team would have Evil Chuck as the thrower, probably some of the guys from bands I never liked (Obituary, Morbid Angel), and some big Gene "WAY Better Than Neil Peart" Hoglan....who'd have to be a BOB or a Warrior or a Human Blitzer depending on how his diet was going at the time.
This useless piece of BB-related trivia brought to you by the letter "C." |

Green, Nurgly Beastmen! You're on the good way. Nurgle's the best!
All hail the king of sickly Gors! |
