Would this apply to the markers as well? I was going to have a black edge to the marker bases, but can paint them green... |

I really don't care what colour we paint the base ring, or how we flock it... but I am curious, are we signing our NAF handle on the base ring?

I'm going to sign mine underneath the base... as for colored rings green looks best to me. |

I prefer black base ring, and seeing as I don't have access to static grass, I vote for green flock. |

what about micing red gore with a little scorched brown and using that to paint the base ring? As for texturing I'd prefer gravel & grass, but I don't see the harm in leaving it to the individual.
Numbers/signing the base - I usually paint my number on the base, or uise a transfer. As for signing, I'm easy and will go with whatever the masses choose. |

IMHO Those should be fine without green as they won't be on the pitch. |

I'd like to do a black base ring with grey pebbles and just a little grass.
I'd sugguest to restart the vote with Green/Grass and Black/Stone options. |

Not painting, but here goes: black rings, something grave-dirt-ish as flock.

The black and gray sounds more fitting to me (to quote the dark lord IMHO)
I mean ... they're the undead... They're Vamps... When's the last time (not counting Buffy, Mel) you saw a vamp out in the green?
Just saying. |

No offense meant here guys ... but if you give me too many rules .. this will just be no fun at all for me.
I'll going to do the figs to make the concept I want, and I don't think we should keep forcing standards. Discussions of what sounds good is great, but forcing me to do my bases in X manner is just going to really kill the enjoyment factor here. Teams colors I understand ... but base flocking ... eh gads ... come on.
If I won, and they had different bases that wouldn't bother me at all.

Do others feel the same way? If so we should ease off on requirements. After all, this is supposed to be fun! |
