Skills Access: Each coach gets to add a number of skills to their teams
To be done before game 1, these should be added to each copy of your team roster. Number of skills you have to distribute is as below based on team tiering. No stat upgrades allowed.
TIER 1: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Wood Elf
TIER 2: Brettonian, Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Slann

Skills are awarded to each team as follows (Max of 2 of the same skill upgrade):

Tier 2: 5 Regular skills, maximum of one extra skill per player
Tier 3: 5 Regular skills and one double skill, maximum of one extra skill per player

This is a “resurrection” type event meaning all injuries are healed between games, and there is no team progression or star player point monitoring required during the event. While Wins and Losses will determine the majority of scoring there will be points awarded for casualties caused and touchdowns scored. Casualties caused by blocking, fouling, special weapons all count. Casualties caused by failed dodges, go for its, landing roles or the crowd or other circumstances do not.

Rules Changes
- Piling on is allowed and does not require a team reroll
- No special play cards
- No special pitch, special balls or Referee rules will be used

Models
Models must be numbered. Painting and flocking are encouraged, but not a necessity to play. There will be an award for best painted as voted on by the players. Conversions are encouraged but should be strive to be clear to your opponent. We will have available “loom bracelet” bands that players can use to show skills on their team.

What you need to bring:
Your models, score and turn counters, balls and 7 copies of your team roster. We encourage folks to type these out or use a free online list designer such as http://www.littlearmybuilder.com/bb/en

We will use NAF Tournament rules (and any rules updates by them up until 1 week from the tournament):
http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/NAFRulesFeb17.pdf
See their summary as well of Deathzone Season 2 rules
https://www.thenaf.net/2017/05/naf-and-death-zone-2/

*The NAF
The NAF is an international organization of Blood Bowl players. They were involved in writing the various living rulebook versions of the rules between official GW editions. For more information on the NAF see http://www.thenaf.net/ We anticipate we will be able to make this event a NAF official event. You do not need to be a NAF member to play in this event.

very exciting to see more bb popping up in your area. I am sure some Canadian coaches will be interested.

quick question about Grak & Crumblebum: are you adding loner and altering price at all?

$40 gets registration to the tournament and for Saturday night open gaming.

The room at the hotel where the tournaments are held will be furnished with coffee, pop and snacks.

BTW for anyone thinking of coming out the night before, the hotel is hosting a food truck event. Last year there about a dozen trucks and a live band.

I signed up. I'm hearing buckets of beer at the tables may be happening. I like the sound of that!

Can't decide if I want to try and speed paint my Goblin team (using for league this season) or field Orcs/Chaos which are painted.

I'm not sure an extra 2 skills make Goblins 'good' (does anything ever?) but I think I can get Ripper a couple weapons bribes and the usual less exciting bits into 1.1 pretty easily.

Pity wanted to get a rematch. Still smarting from our last game.

Goblins aren't getting done. So I think it's probably going to be chaos. . .maybe orcs.

How many coachs confirmed? I'm considering driving down from Canada even alone but I don't really want to do that if the tournament size will end up being pretty small.
