You know you liked it, so why not come over again?!?!
It's the fifth edition of the Four Nations Cup! To be held at Pub Randolph, 6505 des Écores, corner Beaubien, Montreal, on September 22nd and 23rd.
Popol le Bleu, the official wizard of the Ligue des Quatre Nations, never, and he means NEVER, gets tired of messing up your games, so he decided to put on another one! Hence, Four Nations Cup V, where he plans to again wreck havoc on the pitch!
Here are the rules for this NAF sanctionned tourney:
- Five games of Blood Bowl, Swiss style, on two days (3 on Saturday; 2 on Sunday) and fun to remember all your life!
- Official NAF tourney rules (https://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/NAF-Rules-Update-v1-3.pdf);
- Painted teams only (though no points for painting them... but who wants to play grey elves anyway?)
TEAM CREATION:
- 110 Starting TV, minimum of 11 players, Star players, & Apo allowed;
- Then, you get five (5) skills:
TIER 1 (Amazons, Bretonians, Chaos Dwarves, Dwarves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Necromantic, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves): Regular skills only;
TIER 2 (Chaos, Chaos Pact, High Elves, Elves, Humans, Khemri, Khorne, Nurgle, Slann , Vampires): one double allowed;
TIER 3 (Halflings, Goblins, Ogres, Underworld,): up to two doubles.
- No ability (MA, ST, AG, AV) upgrade allowed at team creation;
- No more than 2 extra skills per player at team creation, no more than 3 per players during tourney;
- No more than twice the same added skill on your whole roster;
- This a resurrection tourney, but players value increase with skills;
- Inducements possible because of value increase;
- Positively no overtime.
FOUR NATIONS CUP SPECIAL RULES:
- Popol le Bleu, estranged wizard of the Four Nations League, is mad and wants to disturb the league's tourney, so he'll be available to each team for a single use throughout the tourney (meaning: everybody gets one use of a wizard whenever he wants during the tourney);
- After each game, each coach selects a player on his team, then rolls on the skill increase table;
AWARDS:
- 1ST , 2ND , 3RD
- Most TD’s
- Best Defense
- Most CAS
- Best painted team
- Best sportmanship
- Tourney MVP: after each game, you select an opposing player who was the MVP of the game. At the end of tourney, players who get the most votes wins this.
EXTRA RULES
- 4 minute turns
- Swiss style pairing throughout the weekend
- Game play points: Win 3, Tie 1, Loss 0
- Tie breaker:
Direct game vs
TD differential;
CAS differential;
How much will it cost?
It will cost you 25 $ for the tourney (30 $ for renewing NAF members; 35$ for new members). What do you get for this amount? Here:

- More fun;
- The chance to meet geeks like me, Bisons Després (Chris) and the one and only Popol le Bleu (Rich);
- Did I mention fun?
- A few prizes / surprises.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Your painted team;
- Pitch, dice, pencil, clean clothes!
- Glue and paints to repair some nicks and chips;
- BE THERE AT 9:30 Am SATURDAY MORNING!!!

Registration: Saturday, 9:30
Game 1: 10-12-30
Lunch: 12:30 to 1:00
Game 2: 1:00 to 3:30
Game 3: 3:45 to 6:15
Game 4: SUNDAY 10:15 to 12:45
Lunch: 12:45 to 1:15
Game 5: 1:15 to 3:45
Prizes and results: 4:00

that place looks awesome and the food looks unreal too. but I am going to the Chaos Cup again this year in chicago so cant make the big trip to montreal the weekend after. 6.5 hours is out of range for my weekend drive.
