The Demon Barbers of Cripple Peak
After Grumps attempt to make blood bowl great again, things settled down a bit in Underworld. It was at this time that the Barber brothers came up with their ingenious plan. In the bowels of the warpstone infused Cripple Peak, two brothers set up a pair of businesses in the same structure. On the top floor hung a sign showing the “Barber of Cripple Peakâ€. Below, the other brother opened “Barber’s Bakeryâ€, famous for its meat pies.
The brothers would lure rival blood bowl team players into the barber shop for a shave and a haircut. The players would then be killed and slid down a trap door to the ovens below to cook into the meat pies. Sales boomed for both businesses, as those who came for the food would inevitably stay for a haircut too. Shortly after eating the pies, many goblins and skaven would mutate, having inadvertently cannibalized fellow citizens, but this was Underworld after all, so it did not garner much notice.
As time went on, demand for the bakery’s meat pies increased. This led to a disagreement between the brothers and their symbiotic relationship. The baking barber demanding more “meat†but the other barber was hesitant to increase his murder rate, given suspicion that had been arising as well and the obvious decrease in referrals. The brothers decided to settle their disagreement on the pitch, winner take all. Thus, began the tournament of the demon Barbers of Cripple Peak. |
