Just to let you guy's know, the Ogre BB players are now available from GW (with little hooplah). The US Site has all the bits including some cool workable arms! |

I'm using the same guy I think. With the cool faceplate? I just cut in as close as I could with a good pair of snips (impossible to do with a linesmen pliers) and then filed and shaped what I couldn't get out... Worked out OK for me. |

Yep, same ogre, faceplate and his armour in general looks very cool.
I've considered cutting the club off but it still leaves his hand in an awkward looking position. I've bought a new ogre and although the arms are quite chunky they don't look out of proportion on the mordheim pit fighter ogre.
Next time I order from OS I'll be sure to get one of the arm sprues. Only I don't think they offer the individual bits on the UK shopping site, only the US site...and I think US postage rates are more expensive...ah well..such is life! |
