Tournament Series Organizer: Ulvardar (NAF #13620)
(Tournament Organizer of Cheesebowl).
The Mazabowl in May, Cheesebowl in June, Desert Trophy in July, Quixotebowl in October and MegAlikante Open in November are running the Rey del Sur Tournament Series (King of South) again this year.
All those tournaments will be celebrated along the year in the south-east of Spain, and the winner of the Tournament Series will be acclaimed as King of South 2019.
By attending at least one of the events you are entered into Championship. Your results (with the exceptions below) will be scored and the top coach will win a trophy to be presented in November at Megalikante Open.
To qualify for the King of South you must attend at least one of the mentioned tournaments.
Considering all our tournaments award the usual score of 13-11-8-5-3 for each game result, you only need to sum up the scores obtained in our tournaments, and you get the final score for the King of South title.
There will be an award for the second and third top scores in the final ranking.
This year we've created new prizes:
- Reina del Sur (Queen of South): Girl that obtains the highest score along the five tourneys
- PrÃncipe del Sur (Prince of South): Person with 16 years or less that obtains the highest score along the five tourneys
- Carnicero del Sur (Butcher of South): Person that scores more casualties in the full tournaments series.
Those prizes are cumulative... so a girl of less than 16 years that wins all tourneys with a Stunty team each time, and also scores the most casualties along the five tourneys..... would win a lot of prizes, lol (we hope it happens, we need fresh blood in our gaming groups)
Tiebreakers: First tiebreaker will be "most first places finished", followed by "most second places finished" and so on. This will be applied for King of South title and also Stunty King of South Cup.
Alongside this is the Stunty King of South Cup. In order to gain the Stunty King of South Cup, a different ranking will be made, counting just the scores each player obtains with Stunty Teams. To clarify it, only Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Lizardmen (no sauruses) and Underworld (no skaven) teams will take part on this event, and only the games played with those teams will count for the Stunty King of South ranking.
To clarify it, games played with Stunty teams will count for both the King of South title and Stunty King of South Cup, so in case you play any of the tournaments with a stunty team, you will obtain same score for both rankings.
As for the King of South, your scores obtained with stunty teams will be counted for the Stunty King of South Cup.
In the situation of a Stunty team obtaining so good scores that it wins the King of South title (or second or third place) AND the Stunty King of South Cup, the coach will receive both trophies. You have to be such a good coach, nice fellow and brave player to attend various tournaments with a stunty team and obtain such great scores, that it really deserves a fantastic prize and recognition, so both awards will be given to that special coach.
After the points are counted at Megalikante Open in November, a trophy will be awarded to the three highest scores in the King of South Tournament Series and Stunty King of South Cup winner.

Desert Trophy - AlmerÃa, Spain - 13/07/2019
MegAlikante Open - Alicante, Spain - 09/11/2019
Scheduled dates for tourneys that are part of this event may slightly change depending on the availability of the usual halls where tourneys are celebrated. We will try to adjust the dates as fast as possible, consider it may change about a week back or forward from the dates stated above.
