Dear Madriloners,
Concluded the 2019 edition, won by Bletos, we are already working on the expected seventh edition of the Seven Stars trophy, a Blood Bowl tournament circuit included in the NAF Tournament Series. As in the previous editions, it is not necessary to be from Madrid or register to participate; the attendance to any of the tournaments of the circuit, guarantees you to appear in the classification.

Concluida la edición de 2019, ganada por Bletos, ya estamos trabajando en la esperada séptima edición del trofeo Siete Estrellas, circuito de torneos madrileños de Blood Bowl incluido dentro de las NAF Tournament Series. Al igual que en las ediciones anteriores, no es necesario ni ser de Madrid ni inscribirse para participar; la asistencia a cualquiera de los torneos del circuito, os garantiza aparecer en la clasificación.

PUNCTUATION
In this edition, having more participating tournaments, the 7 best tournaments of each player will be chosen, to calculate their final score. The scoring system of each tournament will be the same as in the previous years, developed by Duke Luthor:

En esta edición, al haber más torneos participantes, se elegirán los 7 mejores torneos de cada jugador, para calcular su puntuación final. El sistema de puntuación de cada torneo será el mismo que el de los años anteriores, desarrollado por Duke Luthor:
The final score will be obtained with the score obtained in the tournaments of the circuit. Only the 7 best results of each coach will be added in the event that he has participated in more than 7 tournaments.
The maximum score in a tournament will be 100 points for 4-match tournaments and 125 points for 5-match tournaments (it would be 150 points in the event of a 6-match tournament).
La puntuación final se obtendrá con la puntuación obtenida en los torneos del circuito. Se sumarán sólo los 7 mejores resultados de cada entrenador en el caso de que haya participado en más de 7 torneos.
La puntuación máxima en un torneo será de 100 puntos para torneos de 4 partidos y 125 puntos para torneos de 5 partidos (sería de 150 puntos en el caso de que hubiera algún torneo de 6 partidos).
The score in each tournament will be the sum of the position obtained in the classification and the WinRatio (won / tied / lost matches) obtained in that tournament. This WinRatio is the same one that the Naf uses to value each coach.
Although it seems a bit messy, it's all quite simple to understand. The only thing that is a bit more complex is the formula for calculating the ranking score. I put below all the mathematical formulas that are used:
Tournament score = (Ranking score + WinRatio) * Kt / 2
Where:
Kt = 1 for a 4-match tournament; Kt = 1.25 for a 5-match tournament; Kt = 1.5 for a 6 match tournament.
Score by classification = ((Number of participants - Position in the tournament) * 100) / (Number of participants - 1)
WinRatio = ((Matches won / no. Of tournament matches) + (Draws tied / (no. Of tournament matches * 2)) * 100
La puntuación en cada torneo será la suma del puesto obtenido en la clasificación y el WinRatio (partidos ganados/empatados/perdidos) obtenido en ese torneo. Este WinRatio es el mismo que utiliza la Naf para valorar a cada entrenador.
Aunque parece un poco lioso, es todo bastante sencillo de entender. Lo único que es un poco más complejo es la fórmula para calcular la puntuación por clasificación. Pongo a continuación todas las fórmulas matemáticas que se usan:
Puntuación en el torneo = (Puntuación por clasificación + WinRatio) * Kt / 2
Donde:
Kt = 1 para un torneo de 4 partidos; Kt = 1,25 para un torneo de 5 partidos; Kt = 1,5 para un torneo de 6 partidos.
Puntuación por clasificación = ((Nº de participantes - Posición en el torneo) * 100) / (Nº de participantes - 1)
WinRatio = ((Partidos ganados/n°de partidos del torneo) + (Partidos empatados/(n°de partidos del torneo * 2)) * 100
Pongo un ejemplo para que se entienda un poco mejor:
- Un entrenador juega un torneo de 4 partidos y queda primero ganando los 4 partidos.
- Su puntuación por clasificación sería 100 ya que ha quedado primero.
- Su WinRatio también sería 100 ya que ha ganado los 4 partidos.
- Por lo que su puntuación final sería = (100 + 100) * 1 / 2 = 100 puntos
I give an example so that it is understood a little better:
- A coach plays a 4-match tournament and wins first 4 matches.
- Your ranking score would be 100 since it was first.
- His WinRatio would also be 100 since he has won all 4 games.
- So your final score would be = (100 + 100) * 1/2 = 100 points
