The Waratah Tournament Series (WTS) is a new yearly open tournament series for NAF approved Blood Bowl tournaments held in NSW, Australia.
TOURNAMENTS
*Tournaments may be eligible for the WTS as follows:
*Must be held between 1 Jan 2023 and 31 Dec 2023, with a preference to complete by early Dec 2023.
*Must be held within NSW, Australia.
*Must be NAF approved 11s, 7s or Dungeon Bowl format with at least 3 rounds.
*Must be approved by the WTS Tournament Series Organiser at least 2 months prior to gameday.
*At least 50% of the WTS tournaments must be 11s format.
*Must not be scheduled within 2 weeks of another WTS tournament or AusBowl.
*No more than 2 WTS tournaments hosted by each Tournament Organiser.
*The WTS must include at least 5 tournaments.
SCORING
*Each WTS tournament may have it’s own scoring system.
*Coaches may gain series points at each WTS tournament as follows:
*20 points for 1st place in a 11s tournament, reducing by 1 point for each placing (min. 1 point per tournament).
*15 points for 1st place in a 7s or Dungeon Bowl tournament, reducing by 1 point for each placing (min. 1 point per tournament).
*1 bonus point for Most TD or Most CAS (max. 1 point per tournament).
*1 bonus point for every 10 coaches attending:
*1-9: 0 bonus points.
*10-19: 1 bonus point.
*20-29: 2 bonus points...etc.
*If a coach is awarded Most TD or Most CAS and places 1st, 2nd or 3rd, the bonus point is awarded to the next eligible coach.
*Series Points Calculator = [20/15 – placing + 1] + bonus points.
AWARDS
*The coach with the most series points from their best 5 WTS tournament results will be eligible for awards and prizes as follows:
*1st Place.
*2nd Place.
*3rd Place.
*Most Touchdowns.
*Most Casualties.
*Rookie MVP (coach ≤ 3 NAF tournaments).
*Other awards subject to the number of coaches.
*In the event of equal series points, a tiebreaker will apply as follows:
*Most 1st placings.
*Most 2nd placings.
*Most 3rd placings
