Khornemas Bowl II - Double Trouble
Once a year we all gather together in a spirit of harmony as the sun reaches its lowest point on the horizon and the sky's are at their most red. Blood is boiling hot and it's time for the annual SLAUGHTER! Red meat is back on the menu and it's time for us all to worship at the altar of the God of Blood Sports! Merry Khornemas Everyone!!
This is a four game doubles tournament on a single day. Cost is 25 for NAF members, 30 for non-NAF members.

Schedule
8:45 am to 9:00am – Registration
9am to 11am – Game 1
11:05 am – 1:05pm - Game 2
1:05 pm to 1:45pm – Lunch
1:45 to 3:45pm – Game 3
3:50 pm to 5:50pm – Game 4
5:50 pm to 6:10 pm – Awards/Closing
Pairings and Match-ups
For this tournament you will pair up with a friend to create a pair of coaches. The coaches cannot take the same team to the tournament. Only one of the two coaches may take a Tier 1 team.
First round matchups will be random by squad and by team member. After the first round, the team with the weaker record will choose the match-ups between the coaches of the pairings. Ie. Team 1 is on 30 points and Team 2 is on 15 points, Team 2 will determine what coach from their pair plays what coach from Team 1. In the case of the teams being tied on points, the team with less individual points will pick the matchups. If there is still a tie, then the team with the least TDs will determine the match-ups. If there is still a tie, then the teams will roll off to determine who picks the matchups.
The game with the highest individual point player in it, will automatically become the grudgematch. The winner of this game will earn their team an extra 3 bonus points. No grudgematch will occur in the first round as no players will have any points as of yet.
Team Building
Individual Teams
Each team must hire a minimum of 11 players. Any unspent cash at roster creation will be lost and all teams will be considered having the same Current Team Value (CTV) for the purpose of inducements and prayers to Nuffle.
All teams will have 1,200,000 gps to build their roster.
Cash given is also used to buy rerolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, apothecary and so on.
The Khornemas Bowl is a resurrection tournament, so no SPP are gained, and injuries, casualties or deaths do not carry on from one game to other.
Undead, Necromantic and Nurgle teams are allowed to apply the Masters of Undeath and Plague Ridden special rules. Players added to a team roster through a game as a result of those special rules are removed from the roster at the end of that game.
Teams will consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 16 players, including star players.
Star players can only be induced after 11 regular players have already been rostered.
Star players can’t be given extra skills from the team’s skill budget.
If both opposing teams are fielding the same star player in a game, both star players are allowed to play.
Skills
Teams have been separated into 4 Tiers and offered different skills to build their rosters. One player is allowed to take 2 Primary skills per team. All other players can take a maximum of 1 additional skill.
Tier A - 4 skills (no secondaries) Dark Elf, Chaos Dwarf, Lizardman, Orc, Undead, Wood Elf, Amazons, Dwarf, Underworld
Tier B - 5 skills (up to 1 secondary) Imperial Nobility, Necromantic, Norse, Skaven, Human, Old World Alliance, Khemri, Vampires
Tier C - 7 skills (up to 2 secondary) Chaos Chosen, Chaos Pact, Khorne, Slann, High Elves, Elf Union
Tier D - 8 skills (up to 3 secondary) Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotlings, Black Orcs, Nurgle
ALL TEAMS: Some extra devotion to Khorne at Khornemas has resulted in one of your lineman (0-12 or 0-16) players gaining one of the following "skills": Claw, Horns, or Monstrous Mouth (they cannot receive any other skills from the tournament)
Inducements
The following are the only permitted inducements
0-1 Halfling Master Chef (300k, 100k for halfling teams)
0-6 Assistant Coaches (10k each)
0-12 Cheerleaders (10k each)
0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs (50k each)
0-3 Bribes (100k each, 50k each for teams with the Bribery & Corruption rule)
0-2 Wandering Apothecaries (100k each)
0-1 Mortuary Assistants (100k)
0-1 Plague Doctor (100k)
0-1 Riotous Rookies (100k)
0-1 Biassed Ref (120k or 80k for Bribery and Corruption Teams)
Giants and Mercenaries are not allowed. (In)Famous Coaching staff and Wizards are not allowed.

All standard star players are ineligible. The following stars are the only stars which will play at Khornemas. Available to all teams (0-2):

Snek Pinefang. MA 5 STR 5 AGI 4+ PA - AV 9+. Horns, Claw, Animal Savagery, Frenzy, Mighty blow +1, Juggernaut, Loner 5+. Cost 200k.
Popkhorne McGee. MA 4 STR 2 AGI 3+ PA - AV 7+. Stunty, Dodge, Sneaky Git, Dirty Player+1, Prehensile Tail, Loner 5+. Cost 90k.
Bella Khornesmith. MA 4 STR 7 AGI 4+ PA - AV 8+. Ball and Chain, Secret Weapon, Brawler, Standfirm, Foul Appearance, Loner 5+. Cost 80k.
Projectile Pete. MA 7 STR 3 AGI3+ PA 6+ AV 8+. Projectile Vomit, Dodge, Monstrous mouth, Loner 5+. Cost 80k.
Stanley Stallworth. MA 4 STR 4 AGI 5+ PA 6+ AV 10+. Tentacles, Standfirm, Brawler, Iron hard skin, Arm bar, Loner 5+. Cost 140k.
Hela Stonemelter. MA 6 STR 3 AGI3+ PA 4+ AV 9+. Extra Arms, Two Heads, Foul Appearance, On the Ball, Loner 5+. Cost 110k.

All teams within the tournament will be eligible for the Best Painted prize. The Best Painted team will be voted upon by all participants at lunch time. Tie breaker will be most 2nd place votes. |
