The Piglet Pot is back for the first time in the BB 2020 era, and it's featuring a roadshow of Hogtown's finest stadiums - including a field that's actually just a conveyor belt with gnashing jaws of death at the endzones...
I'm throwing a small, mostly straightforward tourney at the last minute, just to get back into the swing of tourney-hosting again. The host is Steadfast Brewing, at 301 Lansdowne Ave in Toronto. Only 14 spots guaranteed; more spots may open up pending available space at the brewery.

1.15 mill TV, skill package is as per GW's Matched Play Guide i.e.:
- Tier 1 teams have 6 skill pts; Tier 2 teams have 8 skill pts; Tier 3 teams have 10 skill pts
- Primary skills cost 1 skill pt; Secondary skills cost 2 skill pts. T1 teams can take up to one secondary skill, T2 teams can take a max of two 2ndary skills; T3 teams can take a max of three 2ndary skills.
- Star Players cost 2 skill points, Mega-Stars have additional tax - see the FAQ.
- 1 skill per player, but same skill can be taken by any number of different players.

All team tiers will be as they are in the May 2023 FAQ! Black Orcs are Tier 2. |

Tiers are:
TIER 1:
Amazons, Chaos Dwarfs, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardman, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf
TIER 2:
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Orc, Tomb Kings, Vampires. Also: Slann.
TIER 3:
Goblin, Halfling, Ogres, Snotlings

Essentially:
- Tier 1 has 6 skill points to spend
- Tier 2 has 8 skill points
- Tier 3 has 10 skill points
Primaries cost 1 skill pt, Secondaries cost 2 skill points. Tier 1 can only have a max of 1 secondary, Tier 2 can have a max of 2, Tier 3 can have a max of 3.
No more than 1 skill per player; same skill can be given any number of times (so all 6 Saurus could have Block on a Lizardman team).
All Star Players have a "tax" of 2 Skill Points, in addition to their GP cost. So-called Mega Stars have a tax of 4 Skill Points instead of 2. The list of MegaStars is in the May FAQ - currently they are: Bomma Dribblesnot, Deeproot Strongbranch, Griff Oberwald, Hakflem Skuttlespike, Kreek 'the Verminator' Rustgouger, Morg n Thorg.
(With the much-needed Bombardier nerf in the May FAQ I don't think Bomma should be a Mega Star anymore, but for simplicity's sake I'm not going to deviate from what's published and I'm still sick to death of seeing bombers everywhere so not in a hurry to welcome Bomma back. :p) |
