You must choose your race by Saturday night (20th). Actual team composition only has to be provided during registration. |

Who's going to be there Friday night then? Any plans, or just loitering around the hostel bar with backpackers? |

Well one of the hostels has a pub/bar open till late and late is really late (sometimes it's really hard to sleep over there, but who cares? dungeonbowl all night!!!!!)
Next Rail + Tube station: London Bridge (2 min walk) |

Just to be certain - am I right in assuming we're using Wild Animal as the 4+ to do anything but block, as per the initial rules review? I've seen chat about 2+ something, which some people seem to be regarding as official, but can't see it on gw site.
Thought I'd check on the picky stuff in advance. |

Wild Animal will be 4+ to do anything other than Block.
AFAIK this is the current official rule - i.e. RR2003. |

Ian -
I believe the BBRC and Jervis have agreed to change the "Wild Animal' to the 2+ added to a declared Block, Blitz or Foul, effective now. It hasn't been updated to the published RR but I believe Chet has said on the 'Wild Animal' thread that this is official and will be included when the LRB 3.0 is released in the next few weeks...
"Wild Animals are uncontrollable creatures that rarely do exactly what a coach wants of them. In fact, just about all you can really rely on them to do is lash out at opposing players that move too close to them! To represent this, when you declare an action with a Wild Animal, roll a D6 adding +2 to the roll if taking a Block, Blitz or Foul action. On a roll of 1-3, the Wild Animal stands still and roars in rage instead, and the action is wasted. Note that the Wild Animal no longer has to move first and that he can now use assists. Also note that no dice roll is required for the Wild Animal to turn face-up when stunned."
Which is nearly verbatim what Chet proposed and removes any question of the stun-to-prone dice roll. As I understand it, the BBRC has agreed on this but it has not been officially posted anywhere. |

If you don't like the rule either don't take a Wild Animal or play a different team. This isn't up for discussion at this late stage.
[That comes over a little harsh - sorry - but I think the situation sucks] |

Thanks - I thought that would be the case, just I seem to have caught the this WA debate part way through. Seems slightly ridiculous having a rules review and then impromtu change again if people whinge, but that's another issue. Just thought I'd better check beforehand as it seemed to have the potential for being a contentious issue.
Right, better get back to painting, 8 days left.... |

One request for the people who comes from abroad for this next weekend...:
We (siscor and Myself) are looking for a card game that we cant find here (in Uk) called Bohnanza. We checked internet, but the shiping prices are nearly the double than the original game price. I've seen this game in Germany and Holland (I nearly got it as a price at the MadHobit, but I took home the Mamma Mia one )
If any one can help me... please PM
Thanks and see you next weekend.....
