Hi guys!
Began painting the Count tonight and I am all excited about it!
Just for personnal knowledge, could somebody tell me what the fluff is about Count Luthor? Why does he bother playing BB, whre he's from, etc...
Actually, it might inspire me in my painting.
As for the painting, he will be white puffy shirt and pants, scab red armour, blood red "belt", black and red cloak with silver or white linings.
Iwas thinking about rotting flesh for the face and hands, let me know what you think.

I don't know any of the Luthor fluff, but I like the colour scheme you got going there. I think you should paint the NAF logo on the cape.

You know what? I'll try it! I'll give a shot at the logo on the cape. Worst case scenario is that I'll paint black all over it...

Found this with a Google search...had to translate it from Spanish...
Luthor Von Drakenborg was one of the noble of Sylvania that fought next to Manfred Von Carstein, last Count Vampiro of the saga of the Von Carstein who dared to raise itself in war against the Empire, several centuries back. Vlad Von Carstein was the first and greatest one of Counts Vampiro de Sylvania. He was he who contaminated to the human aristocracy of Sylvania with the curse of the nondeath, and when doing he created it a nonDead kingdom in the heart of the Empire. After the defeat of the army of Vlad to the doors of Altdorf, other Von Carstein continued trying to conquer the imperial capital in the successive centuries, being Manfred the last one in trying it. As much Manfred says itself that as their predecessor, Konrad Von Carstein, are the own Vlad that returns time and time again of the death after recovering after each defeat.
Luthor Von Drakenborg, Count of Drakenborg, also accepted to become Vampire like the practical totality of the nobility of Sylvania. During years it governed his county with tyranny and it imposed a terror veil on his subjects, allowing who spirits, phantoms and other sinister died creatures did not teem to their wide by forests and cemeteries terrifying to the population. When it left to the war to support his Mr. Manfred Von Carstein, it left into the hands of the mayor the government of the county.
After falling defeated the army of Manfred, Luthor fled from return to its enchanted castle, but it was whereupon the enemy troops had taken their earth and they looked for it definitively to end him with the help of the inhabitants of the county, whom they loved to get rid for always of its damn gentleman. So Luthor slid in silence to the Castle of Drakenborg and it was buried deeply in the cellars of the same one, disappearing for the mortals during centuries. |
