I would like to field a Mino on my Norse team, and I'm not too happy with my model selection. The older BB Minos are too small, and the larger 2nd ed one doesn't seem to have that feel that I'm looking for. Anyone tried any conversions using a WHFB model and a bit of green-stuff? Any way to take the weapon out of it's hand(s) without making it look bad? I'm in need of ideas! |

Or get a Morg and replace his head

Or make a glove / spike out of GS

I thought about the 3rd ed Mino, but That's too close of a comparisson if I'm playing a team that's fielding Mr. Blackhoof himself (who the model is supposed to represent). I've already got sevral conversions using Morgs body and a different ogre/ogryn head and I'm looking for something new. |

try to maim a WHFB mino then. There are quite some cool ones in that range. You could use arms / hands from various other big guys like morg, blackhoof etc. |

With the current WHFB Minotaurs there are three different models that have one hand weapon and one clenched fist. Just replace the axe with a bit of jewellery chain or something... |

Anyone ever tried to give a Minotaur Tentacles? A friend of mine is looking into it now, but it would be helpful to know if there are any pitfalls to beware of out there. |

I've yet to get my hands on this Confrontation Minotaur, so I don't know how it might looks sans weapons:

I don't like the confrontation Minos that much, The first one is a tad too cartoonish, while the second is too ornate.
I've found a WHFB Mino that might work (one with 2 hand weapons). My problem comes with snipping the weapons off. I can't seem to make a clean removal without making it look crappy. I like the idea of the Morg Gauntlet, but what about the other hand? I'm tempted to just use the hands from one of the new BB ogre sprues, then clean it up with green-stuff wristbands. |

use a razor saw. Gives nice clean cuts. Also files are usefull to smooth things down, before starting with Green Stuf.
I'd go for morg's glove I think |

a minotaur with tentacles is really, really cool to have. especially against those silly S2 gutter runners.
just don't let him get surrounded. |

I managed to find a WH mini that only had 1 weapon, an axe, and i cut the handle off .... only problem is that now it looks like he has a roll of coins in his fist... Is this classified as a secret weapon? |

No different than an Orc Blitzer's spiky Knucks or Morgs gauntlet! |

A coach that recently left my league had a mino with tentacles that came out of the top of his head. Looked like Medussa it was pretty neat. I forget what mino fig he used wish I had a pic of it. |
